Our house is a few steps from the sea, a place with beautiful energy, where people are always in a good mood, and they treat you with love and kindness.
Accommodation is available in shared dorms up to 4 beds or private suites fully equipped for your comfort.
Isla de la Plata is an island located in the Pacific Coast of Ecuador, one hour away by boat from our Spot.
This Island is part of the Machalilla National Reserve and is not inhabited by people, but by numerous animals such as seabirds. You will be able to see the blue-footed boobies, albatrosses of the Galapagos Islands and several more.
You can also snorkel and see the beautiful and wild sealife, as colorful fishes, turtles and sea lions. And if you are lucky, depending on the season you come you can see giant manta rays and humpback whales.
Los Frailes is one of the most beautiful beaches and a protected area in Ecuador. It also belongs to the Machalilla National Park and has 3 bays, different one from the other.
It’s a great place to swim, walk along its paths, explore in search of crabs and starfish that hide among the rocks.
It has some viewpoints from where you can appreciate the view and take photos. It’s a place to relax, enjoy the clear water, the fine sand and the birds flying around you.
At Sirenas del Surf we have prepared this Surfing and Adventure pack in Ecuador, for you to be able to get a complete view of this country, its culture, its waves and the warmth of its people.
It is designed for women who want to learn to surf, or those who already surf and are intermediate level, but who also want to do other tours and activities in nature.
Some of us have a lot of energy and when we go on a surf trip we also want to know in detail the place where we are going. Therefore, this surf trip may be for you.
We offer surf trips in 2 locations: Las Tunas and Mompiche.
Both towns are very quiet and surrounded by nature, which makes many people come for a few days and then want to stay longer. Or even some come through and afterwards return to enjoy the tranquility and its waves all year round.
The privileged location allows us to move between beaches and small towns so that you can get to know and surf different places just by taking a bus or taxi or mototaxi.
Ecuador is a diverse country with many activities to do in the surroundings of our little town.
So after completing our surf session we can go to visit national parks, hidden beaches, freediving and tours to islands with many birds and nature.
Also, our spot is characterized by having a beach with a forest behind it, so you can explore a small jungle and see hummingbirds, toucans, many native birds and flowers, and if you are lucky, howler monkeys.
I am Iva, I was not born in Ecuador, but I have been living here for 8 years and I know the Ecuadorian coast better than many locals. Also, I learned to surf in this country so I know the surrounded spots very well for every surf level.
Since I moved to Ecuador I have felt admiration and passion for this country and I love to show it and share it with all the people I can. Even before I founded Sirenas del Surf, many people wrote to me asking for advice on places to visit, how to get around in Ecuador and other recommendations. I always answer them with pleasure.
Ecuador is an easy and beautiful country to visit and everyone deserves to enjoy it, besides tourism is an important source of income and what better way to help its local population by visiting it.
Our surf and adventure trips are available for 1 or 2 weeks. The ideal would be two weeks because in this way you can surf a lot and also get to know the other places, since there are tours that last all day and on those days you will not be able to surf.
So it depends on your preference, if you want to really improve your surfing and apart from that, explore Ecuador, we recommend the 2-week one.
If you want a more -express trip-, with some surfing and also adventures, the 1-week trip can also be perfectly organized.
Prices vary in terms of duration and the type of room you choose, we have private rooms and dorms with shared bathrooms.
